Amiga

The Amiga is a family of personal computers introduced by Commodore in 1985, beginning with the Amiga 1000. Built around the Motorola 68000 family of CPUs and a custom chipset providing advanced graphics and sound, the platform set new standards for home-computer multimedia and was hugely influential in gaming, the demoscene, video production and pixel-art tools such as Deluxe Paint. Commodore's bankruptcy in 1994 ended its commercial development, but the platform retains a passionate community to this day (Wikipedia)
