Asia are a British rock supergroup formed in London in 1981 by John Wetton (King Crimson, U.K.), Steve Howe (Yes), Geoff Downes (Yes, Buggles) and Carl Palmer (ELP). Their self-titled 1982 debut, propelled by the worldwide hit single "Heat of the Moment", topped the Billboard 200 for nine weeks and remains one of the best-selling progressive-leaning albums of the era. Their album sleeves -- featuring fantasy dragons and ornate seascapes by Roger Dean -- gave the band one of the most distinctive visual identities of 1980s rock (Wikipedia)
