Daniel Filipacchi

Daniel Filipacchi (born 12 January 1928) is a French photographer, jazz radio host and magazine publisher who founded the influential teen-culture magazine Salut les copains and built one of Europe's largest magazine groups (later sold to Hachette). He photographed many of the leading musicians and entertainers of the late 1950s and early 1960s, and his pin-up and celebrity studies of the period -- often co-credited with Jean-Marie Périer -- remain a frequent reference for retrospective glamour-photography reinterpretations (Wikipedia)
