The Flight of Dragons

The Flight of Dragons is a 1982 animated television film produced by Rankin/Bass and Topcraft, drawing on Peter Dickinson's illustrated speculative book of the same name and Gordon R. Dickson's novel "The Dragon and the George". Voice cast members include John Ritter, James Earl Jones, Harry Morgan and James Gregory. British illustrator Rodney Matthews designed the dragons, characters and landscapes, giving the film a look distinctive from other Rankin/Bass productions of the era (Wikipedia)
