Head Over Heels

Head Over Heels is a 1987 isometric action-puzzle game designed by Jon Ritman and Bernie Drummond and published by Ocean Software for the ZX Spectrum, Commodore 64, Amstrad CPC, MSX and Atari 8-bit / ST / Amiga. Building on the engine of Ritman and Drummond's earlier Batman, it casts the player as two interlinked spy-creatures -- Head and Heels -- who must escape the dungeons of the tyrannical Blacktooth Empire by working together, exchanging unique abilities (Head jumps and shoots; Heels runs fast and carries) when they reunite.
