H. P. Lovecraft

Howard Phillips Lovecraft (1890-1937) was an American writer of weird, science and horror fiction. He is best known for creating what became known as the Cthulhu Mythos -- a shared fictional universe of cosmic horror centred on ancient, indifferent, godlike entities -- developed across stories such as "The Call of Cthulhu", "At the Mountains of Madness" and "The Shadow over Innsmouth".
