Matthew Rolston

Matthew Rolston (born 1955) is an American photographer, music-video director and artist whose career began with portrait commissions for Andy Warhol's Interview magazine and went on to cover Rolling Stone, Vanity Fair and Vogue. He has photographed many of the era's most recognisable performers -- Madonna, Prince, Cyndi Lauper, Beyoncé and Drew Barrymore among them -- in a glossy, theatrically lit, chiaroscuro style that helped define the look of celebrity portraiture in the 1980s and 1990s (Wikipedia)
