Platoon

Platoon is a 1986 American war film written and directed by Oliver Stone, drawing on his own service in the Vietnam War. The film follows young soldier Chris Taylor (Charlie Sheen) and his platoon, with sergeants Barnes (Tom Berenger) and Elias (Willem Dafoe) representing opposing visions of the war.
