Zzap!64

Zzap!64 was a British computer-games magazine published by Newsfield Publications between 1985 and 1992 (with subsequent revivals), dedicated to the Commodore 64 and Amiga. Editorially anchored by reviewers Julian Rignall, Gary Penn and Gary Liddon, the magazine became hugely influential among home-computer gamers, both for its outspoken star-rated reviews and for the airbrushed, cinematic painted covers by in-house artist Oliver Frey -- many of which have since been reprinted as art-prints and book collections (Wikipedia)
