Thorgal

Thorgal is a Franco-Belgian science-fiction/fantasy comic series, drawn by Grzegorz Rosiński and originally written by Jean Van Hamme, serialised in the Belgian magazine Tintin from 1977 and collected by Le Lombard. The title character, Thorgal Aegirsson, is a star-born infant raised by Vikings, whose adventures combine Norse mythology, sword-and-sorcery and far-future science fiction. The series has run to more than forty albums in the main cycle, with multiple long-running spin-offs (Kriss de Valnor, Louve, Wendigo) and a translation footprint across Europe second only to a handful of Franco-Belgian titles (Wikipedia)
