Todd McFarlane

Todd McFarlane is a Canadian comic-book creator, artist and entrepreneur. He rose to fame in the late 1980s with his run on Marvel's The Amazing Spider-Man (where he co-created Venom), then co-founded Image Comics in 1992 and launched Spawn, one of the best-selling independent comics of all time. He also founded McFarlane Toys, a major action-figure manufacturer (Wikipedia)
